Following a very rewarding career in education, Jason fulfilled his lifelong dream to be a Realtor® in 2013. A Broker Associate with RealtySouth in Alabama, Jason’s passion for the industry prompted him to continue his career further, as a licensed Realtor® in Florida. With a home in downtown Sarasota, Jason loves being part of the city’s energy and sharing all the incredible attributes of SRQ with those who want to live here.

Beyond real estate, Jason has always been pulled to the field of education where he was the Director of the Independent Presbyterian Church Day School in Birmingham for 17 years. Under his leadership, the school expanded its curriculum, programming, policies, and budget extensively. He was also instrumental in establishing the HERO Scholarship program and Endowment Fund benefiting children of families with limited resources. Jason helped raise more than $1 million in donations and was the recipient of the HERO Award (providing Hope, Excellence, Reliability, and Opportunity for children) recognized by Child Care Resources of Jefferson County. Jason has a Bachelor of Science, Early and Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

In his spare time, Jason loves to travel, giving back to the community, and he currently holds a position as organist/choirmaster for a local church in Bradenton. Jason also enjoys spending time with his two four-legged children, a Golden Doodle and Schnauzer.
